Fidelity has delivered its King Air 200 MOTUS® full motion simulation device to Guardian Flight Inc. The Fairbanks-based air ambulance service will now be able to provide pre-qualification, initial, and recurrent training for Guardian Flight’s growing King Air crew base.
The King Air 200 simulator has been configured exactly as Guardian Flight’s aircraft, with Collins ProLine II radios, a Garmin 530 GPS unit, a Collins FCS-65 autopilot, and Raisbeck King Air engine modifications. Guardian Flight and Fidelity assembled an extensive cockpit configuration and training task list to assure this device will meet all training requirements.
Guardian Flight Inc. is an Alaskan air ambulance service providing critical care transport, flying Lear 35 turbojets for long range flights and pressurized Beechcraft King Air twin turboprops for shorter range missions. For more information, see www.guardianflight.com or call 907-457-1711.
